CSNC is fundraising to develop a nature center that would benefit the community by providing environmental connection, leisure and exercise opportunities, civic engagement, and community resilience.
A nature center is a non-profit organization utilizing a natural space and a visitor center to practice environmental education.
Nature centers hold tremendous potential to serve as hubs for learning and connection between people and nature and between fellow community members.
This campaign will raise funds to:
- Conduct a feasibility study to design, build and operate the center
- design and build the center
- Furnish the center to serve as an educational facility
