On February 3rd, 2024, CSNC and friends showed love to the Cascade Spring Nature Preserve, a 125-acre old-growth forest that makes up this city park in southwest Atlanta! Volunteers from Hands on Atlanta focused on removing litter, light debris, and invasive plants for the protection and restoration of tree health. Hosted by the CSNC (Cascade Springs Nature Conservancy) with support from Park Pride and Eco-Addendum

PLOGGING is a Great way to EXPLORE the nature preserve while exercising and reducing human impact on the 4 habitats of our precious greenspace.

VOLUNTEER TO PLOGG THE 4 HABITATS CLEAN TODAY:

Bring your own supplies to clean the Creeks/Streams; Meadows/Parking areas; Forests; Wetlants/ponds.

All you need is some gloves and a small bag for trash the next time you go on a walk, jog, or run on your favorite community trail or route around your neighborhood. Pick up any litter you see along your route and let us know about the good work you are doing to keep your community beautiful!
