Wrangler brake feeling spongy after desert driving

Quote from anitakowalczyk on March 13, 2026, 1:04 pmBeen taking my Wrangler out to Al Qudra most weekends lately and I've noticed the brake pedal feels a bit spongy now compared to before, like I have to push it deeper to get the same stopping power. I'm guessing all that sand and the extra stress from off-roating might have finished off the pads quicker than normal driving would. It's a 2020 model and I've done about 65,000 kilometers mostly on road but lately more desert trips so probably due anyway. The thing is I don't want to just hand it over to any shop because I've heard some places use cheap pads that overheat fast or wear out in like six months. Been trying to find proper Jeep brake pad replacement Dubai technicians who actually understand Wranglers and maybe even off-road requirements. Someone in my building recommended a garage in Al Quoz that apparently does a lot of modified Jeeps but I can't remember the name. If you've had your brakes done recently on a Wrangler or even a Grand Cherokee let me know where you went and if they were good with the pricing. Also curious if I should stick with Mopar parts or if aftermarket is okay for this kind of driving.
